BootsnAll's One-Stop Zamunda Travel Guide

National Zoo

A National Zoo as a major attraction? You bet! While Zamunda does have all the typical animals you find in zoos (many live wild in the country, too) in does have the last four last remaining, "apis casinus lupus," which is the Latin word for a cross between a horse and a giraffe. This is perhaps one of the strangest things you will ever encounter, and it's predicted that, unless they are able to breed them, this species will be extinct in the next 20 years. The animal has the body of giraffe, only with very short legs, and a long neck similiar to normal giraffes, but with the head of horse. It's an incredible site.
